Woolaston Parish Council is subject to the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities (ISBN 978-1-4098-4439-6) as its turnover does not exceed £25,000.00 per annum. However, last year, the Parish Council’s turnover for the 2021/22 financial year has exceeded £25,000. 

To demonstrate good governance together with our willingness to be open and transparent, the Parish Council has decided to continue to publish the information that is required by the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities (even though it may no longer be a requirement).

This code requires that local authorities publish the following information on its web site.

• WPC expenditure over £100 2022-2023
• End of year accounts
• Annual Governance and Accountability Returns 
• Internal Auditor Reports
• List of councillors’ responsibilities
• Public land and building assets
• Minutes, agendas and meeting papers of formal meetings
